We only work with small groups of 5 to 8 pilots

Briefing the day before the SIV course is REQUIRED, pilot cannot participate in course if he/she didn't participate in the briefing.

A two-day course in the beautiful setting of Villineuve in Switzerland by David Arufat in conjunture with Air Turquoise SA.

SIV course is aimed for students/pilots with at least 30 flights and who wants to improve their confidence in the air and with the equipment.

Each pilot is equipped with a automatic lifejacket and radio

To the certification office Air Turquoise SA will welcome you for video briefings and debriefings. Address Route du Pré-au-Comte, 8 at CH-1844 Villeneuve/VD

We'll not stop for a lunch break during the course, so please plan a picnic and/or we'll stop at the nearest bakery for a quick sandwich.

In case of bad weather, we'll discuss about the following procedure. The calendar is relatively busy, but we can move or postpone for one day before the SIV course is cancelled. The service provided will be paid in accordance to the price list.

The day before SIV course starts, for organizational reasons, security and education, it is required to be present at the general briefing.

Itinerary

Start at 5pm to Air Turquoise SA, certification office at Villeneuve.

•    Administration, disclaimer  
•    Presentation of every pilot and exchanging experiences
•    General briefing with video and educational panels
•    Check the operation of the extraction parachute in a simulator with the help of Randi Eriksen, Parachute rescue specialist.
•    Distribution of life-jackets, radio, headsets and waterproof pockets for radios.
•    Presentation of the evolution area and landing.
•    Weather
•    End of the briefing around 9pm.

first day (informative and depend of weather condition)
• appointment at 7.30am to Air Turquoise SA office at Villeneuve
• coffee - bred and final talk about the flights of the day
• 8.30 departure for the first flight
• 10.30 departure for the second flight
• 12.45 departure for the third flight
• 3.30pm => 5-6pm video debriefing with aperitif


second day (informative and depend of weather condition)
• appointment at 7.30am to Air Turquoise SA office at Villeneuve
• coffee - bred and final talk about the flights of the day
• 8.30 departure for the first flight
• 10.30 departure for the second flight
• 2.30pm => 5-6pm video debriefing with aperitif and last administration stuff.
